Jagannath of Odisha is actually Buddha!

A. Cunningham, W. Many scholars like Wilkins, W. W. Hunter, R. L. Mitra claim that God Jagannath of Odisha is none but Lord Buddha. This claim of him and many other scholars is based on some key facts like –

1. The statue of Jagannath is taken from Kalpana Buddhist stupas, like this picture finds a picture of Jagannath on the artwork of a Buddhist stupa of Lalitgiri in Odisha.
2. People in Odisha know Jagannath, Balbhadra and Subhadra as Buddha, Dhamma and Sangh which are three gems of Buddhism.
3. is the symbol of Jagannath which has eight rods which symbolizes the Ashtangik path.

Along with this, there are many other facts based on which it can prove that the Brahminization of Buddhist culture was rapidly done during the period of revolution.

In India, where the Buddha’s revolution created a society on equality, the same society was created based on discrimination and high level by cheating and assault in the Brahmin revolution.

Well, if all these claims like Ayodhya are proved then myths will break. When the myths break, the society will have scientific vision. Scientifically, society and country will progress.

After long research, I found evidence of “Jagannath of Odisha is actually Buddha OR not”.

Since Buddhism was a predominant the religion of Odisha from the time of Asoka after the Kalinga War, it had its impact on the life, religion and literature of Odisha. Scholars have made attempt to show the similarity of Jagannath cult with Buddhism on the basis of literary and archaeological sources. They have put forth the following arguments to justify the Buddhist origin
    of Lord Jagannath.

Still, I’m searching more to represent in front of blind devotees.

    Thank You _/\_
