Baudhkāro’ is a Dhamma musical band that strives to propagate the Ambedkarite – Buddhist socio-political and cultural ideas.
बौधकारो = One whose duty is to awaken a prince with music and song (बोध + कर) [Pali-English Dictionary, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar]

We believe in the cultivation of mind and the reclamation of the human personality which seeks the establishment of Liberty, Equality & Fraternity.
Vision
Our vision is to further, through our music, the Ambedkarite movement that propagates Dhamma, recreating a just, humane, and happy world.
Baudhkaro was created in 2016 at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, with the desire of #SpreadingAmbedkariteCulture amongst the youth of the country.
Baudhkaro organised the celebration of Dhammachakka Anupavattan Day for the first time in JNU in 2016, and received an overwhelming response!
